Welcome to A.B.O.L.K.O.G (formally Dev-Story),  I started this site dev-story.com, but due to some technical issues, I had to change it to abolkog.com. The name doesn't matter, the purpose for this site is the same. I started this site as a place for all the developer to share their knowledge and ideas in a variety of IT fields.

The main idea for this site is to gather all of our experiences in one place, so we can benefit from each other and help others too. Please don't think that what you already know is not enough or it is not important, believe me, it might be valued by others more than you think, and perhaps it is exactly what they are looking for.

I am a software developer and I face some challenges in my work sometimes, and in order to find a solution a problem, I have to search thousands of websites, read dozens of articles. I always think how great it would be If all this resources can be found at one place, and that's why I created this website. Everyone is welcome to join, from beginners to beyond experts, just share what you know with us.

We Want Peace!

On January 9th, 2011 a referendum will determine whether Southern Sudan should remain a part of Sudan. 80% of Sudan's oil fields are in the south, making it a prime battleground to displace the indigenous people.  Both North and South are preparing for war, leaving innocent people at grave risk of major human rights violations. The last civil war between North and South – in which Emmanuel Jal fought as a child soldier – claimed over 2 million lives (including that of Emmanuel’s own mother).

TAKE ACTION

The time to prevent another genocide is now. The single We Want Peace is a call for peace, protection and justice for all in Sudan and also for an end to conflicts affecting innocent people all around the world.
